PIERCETON — A barn north of Pierceton was destroyed by fire Tuesday night, June 21.
The fire was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. at 6827 East 150N, which is east of CR 650E.
Beacon GIS lists the owner as Jonathan Cosby.
Courtney Cosby, a resident, said they had just arrived home when somebody realized the barn was on fire.
Firefighters worked to keep the fire from spreading into a field to the east.
It was not immediately clear what caused the blaze.
Those responding included Pierceton Fire Department, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory, Winona Lake Fire Department and Lutheran EMS.
