WARSAW — Four apartments were destroyed or damaged in a fire this evening, Feb. 26, at Lakeland Villa Apartments, in the area of 334 Chamberlin Drive Building G. Flames were reported coming from the roof when Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory was called at approximately 5:03 p.m.
A full assist from Winona Lake and Plain Township fire departments was requested.
The fire was contained to the top two apartments and attic, with water damage to at least two apartments below.
The fire was brought under control around 5:30 p.m.
It is unknown if anyone was in the apartments at the time of the fire.
