Firefighters of the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory were called to extricate two people from a single vehicle crash on U.S. 30 east of Warsaw just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

The accident involved one vehicle that had driven off of U.S. 30 and rolled over into the ditch on the north side of the highway. Three people were in the vehicle, but two were trapped inside. Weather was a factor in the accident.

According to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department information released this morning, the driver, Donald W. Rosenski, 39, of Gary, lost control of the vehicle on the wet pavement. The car left the highway and began rolling down an embankment. Rosenski sustained a shoulder injury and a cut to his head.

The two passengers in the vehicle who had to be extricated were Hollie Rosenski, 33, also of Gary, and Kaytlyn Borden, 19, Gary. Hollie Rosenski also complained of shoulder pain. Borden reportedly had chest pain. All three were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital by Multi-Township EMS for treatment.

Damages were estimated at up to $25,000.
