WARSAW — Fre destroyed a mobile home just before 11 p.m. at Westhaven Estates Wednesday night, May 12.
Atwood Fire Department received a call at 10:55 p.m. regarding a structure fire in the mobile home park at Lot 7 at 3762 W. Old Road 30 in Warsaw.
Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory was called for a tanker assist.
According to a representative from Atwood FD, there were no injuries. The fire was under control within 45 minutes, and firefighters left the scene at 2 a.m. Thursday, May 13.
Fire officials were still at the scene Thursday morning. They believe the fire started near the kitchen, but a cause has not been determined.
The home sustained heavy fire and smoke damage.
Nobody was living in the home at the time.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Lutheran EMS also responded to the scene.
